Our third chosen charity is the Snowdrop Project. This is a new initiative aimed at supporting the survivors of human trafficking. Currently in the UK there is only provision for rescued victims for 45 days, after which they are left without any support. This charity seeks to address this gap in provision by giving the victims of trafficking the vital help they need to build new lives no longer defined by their traumatic past.

Today has been a day of things coming together, after all the months of planning. The support van and follow car have now been packed up, under the watchful eye of Borrans Junior and Bertie Brown. Thankfully it was a dry day which made everything easier.
Radio Cumbria rang today, and we have arranged an interview tomorrow morning at 7.50am, so do listen in if you can.
