With less than 6 weeks until the race start, Beech Boys training plan involves big mileage this week.
Norman completed 6 laps of Coniston Water (102 miles) on Saturday morning before lunch (he did start off at 4.40am!) James has also been clocking up the miles around Sheffield.

MASCOT COMPETITION
Cost: £1 per entry
Reward: If drawn out of the hat your mascot will accompany the Beech Boys on their adventure, and feature in the blog. (Do you remember Joe the Swimmer on their Atlantic Row?)
Details: Mascot must be no taller than 6 inches, be available from 25th August to 10th September and make a good team member. Contact us and we will send you an entry form.

BEECH BOYS TANDEM QUIZ
Cost: £1 per quiz
Reward: 1st prize – neck warmer Pro Buff rrp £30; 2nd prize – Merino wool Buff rrp £25
Details: Could you sell ten Quiz sheets to your friends and family? The first two correct quiz sheets drawn will receive a Buff from Buff Headwear. Contact us and we will email you the quiz.

TWENTY IS PLENTY
Cost: £20
Reward: Your name displayed on the support van following the tandem around Ireland, and a poster photo of Beech Boys Tandem racers and support crew.
